Happy Sunday everyone! How's your weekend been? I've had such a chilled Saturday and Sunday (despite being a bit hungover yesterday) and I'm feeling ready for the week ahead.

This week and weekend I have finally styled up my 'Saturday' knit and I'm so happy with it. It's such a soft comfy piece of knitwear that I know will be in my wardrobe for years and years. It's the first piece of luxury knitwear I've actually ever purchased, and it met all my expectations in terms of quality.

'Saturday' is a brand recently created by blogger Megan Ellaby; I have read her blog for such a long time, and I was so excited to see that she was bringing out her own range of clothing. The collection of knitwear didn't disappoint, and it was a difficult choice to just pick one jumper. I settled on the Star Arm knit - it was a close battle between this, the rainbow knit and the Oh So knit, all of which were sooo beautiful.

I'm not going to lie, on arrival I wasn't sure if this knit was too girly for me. I absolutely love the colour and pattern but I wasn't 100% on whether it was 'me' when I first tried it on. However I have since styled it up a number of different ways and I absolutely love it now - It looks so nice tucked into a pair of wide leg jeans with trainers for a casual cosy look and because the material of it is quite thin it's also the perfect piece to layer under a jumpsuit or a cami dress, which I was really happy about!

Pink and red is one of my favourite colour combinations and it's one of the reasons I was so drawn to this particular jumper, and I really wanted to continue the pink colour theme throughout the outfit - from the light pink running throughout the dress to the hot pink shade of the shoes I think I managed to do that ha! I love the way the grey shade of the dress makes the jumper really pop from underneath it.

As soon as I ordered this jumper I knew i wanted to clash the star arm pattern of it with a different print and this pink checked pinafore dress works perfectly. This dress is actually one from last year from Topshop (I will link a few similar ones for you all) and it's the perfect dress for layering for the colder months. A pinafore dress is such a staple piece for every wardrobe, for all seasons! I love the grey prince of wales checked pattern of this one with the hint of pink running through it, I also love the shape, its low cut neckline and cinched in waist makes it incredibly flattering on the figure.

To finish off the look and also add a bit of an edge to the outfit I chose a pair of fishnet tights (which are easily ripped; see above picture and spot the hole), and these amazing hot pink sock boots (again from Topshop last year). I really love this look and felt so cute and cosy in it, it's definitely an outfit that I would wear on a festive day out to the Christmas markets.

I hope you enjoyed this post, let me know what you think!
