Hi everyone! I'm sorry I missed posting last week - I've had so much trouble with my laptop recently i'ts been a struggle to sit down and get anything typed up. I've had all sorts going on both good and bad - Bad being that I failed to get Glastonbury tickets so I spent a whole week feeling sorry for myself (Michael Eavis if you're reading... do your thing hun) (well done to everyone who did btw - you're in for a treat) But anyway I'm in much higher spirits this week and I'm back to talk you through one of my favourite looks right now - which is made up entirely of sale pieces from Topshop!

Do you ever put an outfit on, and you're just like *Janice voice* 'oh...my...god'? You keep looking in the mirror and you're just in complete awe of how you can have actual feelings for items of clothing? No? Okay... well that was me with this outfit.

I love clothes, not just the items themselves but also how you can style them, and clash them, and piece them together to make something so interesting. I used to think I just had a bit of a shopping addiction to be honest, until I realised that the obsession isn't even just with buying clothes for myself, it stems to other people as well. Whenever there is a group holiday or night out pending with my gals, I'm often asked to help them find something to wear. And to me this is so far from a chore, I love it. Browsing through online shops finding things which I think will suit their style, flatter their figure and make them feel amazing - and I have to say more often than not I do a good job and they seem to think so too!

There's just something so satisfying imagining up a look in your head, finding the perfect pieces and then seeing it come together. It makes me incredibly happy. This outfit was a little different however as I didn't actually plan it. I bought all the items separately (albeit from the same place) but I bought them with no intention of styling them together. The thought didn't even cross my mind to be perfectly honest, but this is one of those outfits that gets me really excited.

Honestly I am obsessed with this outfit, the colour combo going on here is just something else don't you think!? Oranges, pinks, yellow, green... Dreamy!

Everything I'm wearing in this post I purchased in the Topshop sale, which just goes to show that you don't have to raid the 'New In' section to stay on trend - this top nails TWO of the seasons trends - bold brights and check print. The pattern is tartan but with a funky vibrant twist, in the perfect bright hues needed to tie together the outfit. Its such a fun piece, with its high neck and long sleeves its going to keep me cosy for the colder months and at only £7 in the sale I'd go and grab yourself one! High neck tops like this one are the ideal layering item, I know this top will look great under a cami dress or jumpsuit or paired with some denim dungarees. Tis the season for layering.

I've had my eye on these boots for a while now but I just couldn't afford them. So when I saw that not only were they in sale but they also had an extra 20% student discount I couldn't stop myself. On top of being the perfect statement boot, they're ridiculously comfy. This is a must have when investing in a good winter boot - it needs to sturdy, non-slippy for the upcoming icy mornings and comfy enough to last a whole day in. These boots tick all the boxes for me, I'll certainly be wearing these to death. A good statement boot can make or break an outfit, and give it a whole different vibe.

I would definitely keep your eye on the recent sales to see if any of the boots you've had your eye on have been discounted!

And finally we have this gorgeous fuchsia corduroy jacket - which I've had so many compliments on already! I was on the hunt for an 'inbetween' jacket. One which wasn't yet a thick winter coat, as I'd be too warm, but was warmer than the denim jackets I've been wearing (this weather is confusing to dress for isn't it!) This jacket is just what I was looking for. On trend with its corduroy material, its boxy shape is great for layering over thick jumpers, I sized up for a bit of extra room. I know Topshop have this style jacket in a number of different shades if this one is too bold for you!, but I've found that this colour actually goes with so much.

I've wore this outfit to death already as it's an unbeatable feeling when you find an outfit which you feel completely confident in.

I hope you enjoyed this look. I'd definitely recommend checking out the Topshop sale they have some fab pieces, meaning you can get in on the latest trends for half the price like I have done here - Check print, bold colours and corduroy!
